Aetherform (“the app”) is a two-player board game published by ArgVoid. This policy explains what the app collects and why. It is written to be short and accurate.
The app does not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or location. There are no accounts to create and no ads.
The app collects only what online play needs:
Single-player and pass-and-play games are entirely on your device and send nothing.
Only to run online matches (syncing the two players and keeping turns fair). It is not used for advertising, profiling, or analytics, and it is never sold.
Google (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore) processes this data on our behalf as a service provider. It is transmitted over encrypted connections. See Google’s privacy policy for how they handle data as a processor.
If you leave a tip, the payment is handled entirely by Google Play Billing. The app does not receive or store your payment details.
Online rooms and match data are temporary: they are kept only as long as needed to run matches and are cleaned up periodically. The anonymous identifier lives on your device and can be cleared by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling.
Aetherform is designed for children and families. It collects no personal information from anyone, of any age. During online play it uses only the anonymous game ID described above, solely to make the match work. There are no ads, no tracking, and no chat or any other way for players to communicate; online matches are joined only with a room code shared outside the app. Tips are optional, sit behind a grown-up check, and are paid through Google Play.
